what's going on?

I'm 42 and having the usual menopause symptoms, night sweats, dryness, trouble sleeping, no period for 6 months etc. Not pregnant (done test!) Not menopause (had blood test!) Any ideas???

Did you have your FSH tested to see if you are in menopause? You can be peri-menopause for 10 years before menopause. My sister was having menopause symptoms and her FSH didnt show her to be menopausal and then BAM she was smack in it. I think it is only a matter of time before your hormones show you are menopausal but you can be perimenopausal at this point. Most docs put you on antidepressants anymore to get through it and dont advise hormone replacement unless your sx's are severe.

Hi, they sound like the classic symptoms of the menopause to me. Ask for another blood test. Think you'd know if you were pregnant by now.
