why cant the doctors give me the right medince

im 48 no menstral cycle in 2 year i have had a itch that started when i began to go threw menopause. the itch is on the lips of my virginal . i had a biopic done the doctor found nothing the only thing helps is over the counter cortazone it only helps some times.

Have you tried vaginal estrogen cream (Estrace). It can really help with the burning and itching. I have also used Vagifem, which is a tiny tablet that comes with a slim applicator - no mess! When we go thru menopause those delicate areas can really take a beating and even if we take systemic estrogen those areas can still need some applied right there.

could it be bacterial or yeast?? you need something to treat so it will go away.
