A small patch of my scalp is tender to touch. Should I be worried?

I had shaving burns & bumps last week. Treated it with Bump Patrol and an Epiderm at the end. It seems like it has all cleared off now. But a patch of scalp at the back of my head (I had some razor bumps/burn at the site) is tender to touch. It looks clear of bumps. but when I apply Bump Patrol on that area it stings a little and It appears white around some hair follicles. Only on  the area. After a while the color normalises but it remains tender to touch. What could be the issue and what medication should I use?
