Is it wise to change Aggrenox am and pm with 1 baby aspirin pm to 1 baby
Aspirin am and 1 baby aspirin pm  as Dr. wants?  Patient has had 2 strokes
and Quad by pass in 1998 .

Aggrenox does have aspirin in it. It is recommended for strokes, as you already know. I'm not sure why the Dr has taken away the Aggrenox. Maybe he feels that taking aspirin is equivalent with less side effects? Aspirin does work well to help prevent stokes and heart attacks. So, there was no reason given for the change?

Yes it is a Cardiologist and wants to take Aggrenox away completely.

Is this a Cardiologist recommending this? If so, then he knows what he is talking about. I'm a little confused. Is the Dr wanting to remove the Aggrenox completely?
