Am I experiencing urethritis, or prostatitis? Both?

I was away on a men's weekend about 6 weeks ago. There was a lot of alcohol involved. I vaguely remember women being involved at one point. I'm afraid there may have been some sort of contact, though probably nothing more than oral sex.
4 days after the weekend, I started to experience penile sensitivity and discomfort.
I was tested at a clinic for chlamydia and gonorrhea, twice within the first week of the party via urinalysis.
All tests came back negative.
I was put on 1g azithromycin and rocephin injection the first visit out of precaution.  No antibiotics the second visit.
After a week or two, I saw my PCP for a second time (went once and he said it was probably a virus where it didn't react to antibiotics-- and to watch for sores (yikes, HERPES?!)
Well, no sores and this second visit he gave me (another, though he didn't give me the initial) dose of azithromycin and told me to wait ten days to return if symptoms didn't subside.
I returned. It had been A few weeks of urethral inflammation, no discharge, mild dysuria, and general discomfort at the tip of the penis and urethra.
I also recently noticed a soft lump (marble size or smaller) in my scrotum above my right testicle with no pain.
So, not only did I still have inflammation in my urethra, and sensitivity, but not I had a lump to report and also experienced intermittent cloudy penile discharge upon defecation. Only happened a handful of times.
No discharge other than that.
The doc prescribed me 14 days of ciprofloxacin and referred me to a urologist and for an ultrasound.
Also gave me a urethral swab to send out for culture.
I am 5 days into the cipro and the discomfort has definitely subsided a bit. I have occasional pain in the perineal area, and redness at the tip of my urethra with noticeable urethral inflammation still - no dysuria.
No discharge. Dribbling toward end of urination and wavy stream much of the time.
I have more than a week left of the cipro and still have to hear back about ultrasound results and urethral swab and have my urology appt this week.
Almost six weeks since first symptoms of any discomfort, what is going on? Everyone I've talked to who has ever had any "issues" or experiences with penile discomfort or even chlamydia etc. never had ongoing symptoms like this.
My Dr thinks it could be prostatitis (as of last appt)
I am going insane. Someone please help.
