Areola scabing

My areola has been scabbing and unable to heal on my left areola. It only covers half of the areola. It gets itchy and scabs, the scab doesnt heal. When i shower the scab comes off and it scabs all over again its been happening for aabout 2 months.

you might be having an allergic reaction to something. have you recently started using a new soap, shampoo, or body wash? you might also be experiencing increased friction from your clothes rubbing against your nipple. this is common in people who exercise regularly. because the scabbing has been going on for 2 months, you should have your doctor take a look at it.
