I use to be like that when I was little but I grew out of it. But ocassionally it is hard and that mental block returns.

You are lucky you can pee in a urinal with guys around you.  I can't seem to do that.  I don't know if I'm afraid others will check my **** out, or if I want to check them out.  It is just easier for me to use the stall.

no I dont have to, I use the urinal, its just when I am home it is just nice be able to pull my pants down, relax and sit. (however sometimes it is hard for me to use a urinal in loud crowded area due to some mental block, but I usuall always end up peeing)

I agree.  I am 56 and do the samething.  Do you have to pee in a stall when you are in a public bathroom?
