Bladder and Pain problems

Bladder and Pain problems

Hi, I am a 40 year old male and have had problems for the last 3 years.  It started with pains in my stomach and back (right side), no pressure when urinating, and feeling dreadful (sick, dizzy).  I was diagnosed last year with type 2 diabetes and have been on metformin for about a year.  I still have the pains in my stomach (right side and sometimes down the front of my right leg) and no pressure when urinating, and I always have a rash on the glands of my penis.  I also still feel unwell.  I have had blood tests which only show a slightly high blood sugar, and any urine tests are clear.  My doctor is no help and I have been to a urologist who says my bladder and prostate are OK and cannot give me any answers.

I am beginning to feel that my life is over and will have these pains for the rest of my life.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention in the original post that I have also lost over 2 and a half stone in the last year without trying.

Hi,
You should be happy that your blood tests and urine tests are negative and that the urologist has cleared the urinary system
May be now you should consult a neurologist, as these symptoms can be caused by some neurological disorders.  Have you checked for any side effects of the medication you are taking? In any case getting worried is not a solution to your problems.
