Bumps on the top of my husbands head

by Ange1a25, May 15, 2006 12:00AM
Hello any1. I am posting this in hopes that someone can help my husband with this problem. We have gone to a local dr, but nothing has helped. He seems to have these pimple-like bumps on the top of his head that won't go away. They have a yellow fluid-like substance in them, that explodes when he messes with them. They always come back, even bigger the next time. He was directed by the dr to take these pills, that I can't remember the name of, and to use phisoderm on his hair instead of shampoo to clear them up and stop the itching. It worked while he was taking them, but as soon as he stopped, the bumps came back. They were supposed to be gone after the meds were gone. He even got a refill and took them again, which helped again, for a little while...but to have to take the meds everyday for the rest of his life for bumps on his head seemed rather extreme and still doesn't tell us what it could be. He has been losing the hair on the top of his head now since he first saw them, and at 25, he is half bald. This has led to stress and anxiety about the conditions, and he even seems to have acquired what I assume are hemmorhoids, as he was bleeding badly this morning when he had a bowel movement. Crazy as it is, I am sure all these things are connected. I don't exactly know where to begin with the question I need answered, since I have so many now....but if anyone knows what any of this could be from, I would sure appreciate any feedback you could give us! We don't have any insurance, or I would have taken him to a specialist long ago. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,Angela
