Burning sensation in the sole of feet

1 am a 51-yr. old male,  suffering from burning sensation under   both feet i.e  in sole  except my toes and arch. Irritation in the sole increases while walking and standing for some  time. As per doctor I have taken Vitamin B-12 for one month , but have no relief. Also light pain in the back if I stand for some long time. Please, let me know what it is that's wrong with me, and any solution for my situation?? Results of blood tests done, which seems to be at higher side are as under:
Blood Glucose (F) 135 mg, Blood Glucose(PP) 159 mg
Serum uric acid 7.4 mg, Rheumatoid factor - Reactive.Eosinophil 9%,
Platelet count  is found below normal range i.e. 1.2 lac/cmm.  Is it indicating any serious medical problem. What can I do to increase the same to normal range   of above 1.5 lac/cmm

Other blood results Hb, TLC. Neutrophil, Lymphocyte, RBC., ESR, MCV , MCH
MCHC, PCV, Serum Creatinine, Blood urea Sodium, Pottassium, Chloride, Calcium
are in the normal range.
Kindly advise for treatment or any other medical test to be conducted.
Thanks

Two other things that come to mind are a possible fungal infection or peripheral pressure. Did your Dr mention using a sole support in your shoes? You might want to give that a try.

Is your Dr testing your blood sugar after you've fasted for 12 hours? Since you'll be going back next month to see your Dr ask him to check the blood pressure in your legs. Are you having any other symptoms like pain in your legs when walking?

Hi
Thanks for the comments. I am not a diabetic, only in the beginning of this month the blood sugar level was slightly high i.e. 135 mg.  I again done blood sugar test in the middle of this month now this has come down to 107 mg. Doctor has not advised any medicine, only advised to stop taking sugar, sweets containing sugar, decide only after another test in next month. Doctor doubts some neurologist disorders.  However, there is no relief to my sole burning sensation.
Thanks

Hi,
I agree with remar, your problem seems to bbe due to Diabetes, as I would affect blood circulation  due to thinning of blood vessels. Since how long you have the high blood glucose levels and are you taking any treatment for the same?

Yes, it looks like your blood sugar levels do look high. It should be at 100 or below when fasting. Has your Dr talked to you about the possibility of having diabetes? That could be the reason your soles are bothering you. Are you working with an Endocrinologist?  Remar
