Chest Hernia

I have a Hernia about 1 inch to the right of a small center scar where my gall bladder was removed. Does this need to be taken care of? Will it get bigger? Is it from the gall bladder surgery? If I do nothing, what might happen or should I watch out for? Is this the fault of the surgeon that removed the gall bladder?

Lucky for me that it is not painful. It doesn't look very good coming out from the center of my chest. My doctor suggested going back to the surgeon which I will due if it gets any worse. It certainly is in a strange spot just under the sternum.

I doubt it's the fault of the surgeon. It all depends on how bad the hernia is, if it's causing you pain, causing other problems. Is your Dr recommending getting it taken care of?
