Dating Advice

I'm 18 and I'm pretty much a shy and quiet guy also I'm skinny and tall and I seem to have a problem trying to find a girlfriend to go out on dates and stuff and I was wondering if there is a way I could find a girlfriend that doesn't judge me on my weight or how skinny I am, but I'm just too shy to ask a girl out and I'm afraid of rejection or being laughed at I'm wondering if there is a way I could strike up my confidence in asking a person. Can someone help me?

Tall and slender is an attractive combination to girls.  If you're saying you're six foot five and only weigh 125 lbs., maybe it's a bit extreme, but probably the girls aren't thinking you're too skinny.

Best way to find a good girlfriend is by being nice to all girls, not focusing on just the cutest and being tongue-tied in their presence, and enjoying talking to them.  It will give you practice in talking about the things girls talk about most, will ease the pressure of trying to find one particular one to be your girlfriend, and it will get you out.  You'll start getting signals from some of them that they like you if you do this often enough.  Then you can narrow down the choices to the ones that you resonate to the most.  Starting as friends is sometimes the best way to go, or flowing with the chemistry.  A lot more practice with no pressure on yourself to produce a girlfriend out of a given encounter will ease the situation for you a lot.
