Discharge

A lot of times I have a bowel movement, when I am finished I notice a discharge from my penis.  The discharge has almost a gummy consistency  that is the best way I can describe it.  It happens probably 50% of the time.  I have gone to a urologist and they did a semen analysis and everything came back OK I guess.  However they could not tell me what and why I was having the discharge.  

I noticed a difference in my semen when I had  a vasectomy reversal.  The Dr did tell me one side was bad because she said it was lumpy, after the reversal I noticed when I ejaculated sometimes there is a jelly consistency to some of the  semen.

The discharge I am having when I have a bowel movement is concerning me.

The discharge is most likely harmless.  I had the same concern when I was younger.  I thought it might be pus, but it's actually just semen.  When your poop passes by your prostate, it pushes on it, and sometimes it can push it enough to cause it to force some semen out of the penis.  The jelly-like consistency is also nothing to worry about - semen can change qualities based on what you eat, drink, temperature - lots of things.  The only time I think you need to worry if your semen becomes so clumpy that it's causing blockage when you ejaculate, such that you've got a retrogade ejaculation issue.  That wouldn't be good.
