Don't want to change my life.

I had testicular cancer that resulted in two large tumors in my abdomen. The tumors were removed about 8 months ago.I just recently found out that one of my kidneys stopped working because of the surgery. Will drinking heavily once a week be a stupid thing for me to do or will my remaining and perfectly functioning kidney not miss a beat? Also, I am very active and would like to continue playing sports. So, I've been wrapping my side up and playing. There is no pain as of yet.I've been under the assumption that if I'm doing anything to damage my kidney, that my kidney will let me know before it's too late.

I think that is some questions for your doctor. You have already been through enough so I would do whatever he says is best.
