Gelatinous semen globules? What are they?

I've noticed that upon ejaculation, there seems to be jelly like globules present in the semen. The semen is also slightly yellow tinted. There is really no pain upon ejaculation, only the feeling of a slight buildup due to the thickness of the semen. I have been to a urologist for this and upon a semen analysis, everything came back normal. I do take Finasteride 0.5mg every other day for my hair. Could this be the cause? He insisted that it was NOT the Finasteride (propecia). In addition, I asked if it could be low testosterone and he claimed that it was not the issue in this case. I'm an avid bodybuilder whom exercises 5-6 days a week.

There's no blood or any other symptoms whatsoever. I'm an avid bodybuilder and frequently drink 1 gallon of water a day. I doubt its hydration. I've seen mentions of high protein diets that may cause this and seeing as my diet is a high protein one, that could be the cause. One of the urologists first concerns was a semen analysis to get done, which came back completely normal. I guess it could be due to the propecia(Finasteride) however it's nothing of concern, according to him.

The "jelly like globules" could be due to several things including dehydration and lack of a recent ejaculation.  I'm surprised the urologist did not give you a list of possibilities.

Is the urologist concerned? Seems not. I'm wondering if it's a form of prostatitis, which may cure itself without meds, but are you experiencing other symptoms? No blood in the semen? Maybe soak in a hot tub at the club once a day to see if that makes a difference.

No blood or anything else symptom wise. He didn't seem concerned as it is normal. He suggested the analysis which came back normal. I guess it could be the propecia as I've stated in the other comment
