Groin problems

About a year ago and had this strange discomfort with in my groin. It must of lasted around two months. i visited the doctor he had a quick check and could not feel anything wrong and told me to come back in two weeks if the problem was still there. The problem seemed to lighten and i would get the odd strange feeling.

About a month ago it came back, it seems to be on my left side and i get this aching sometimes behind my left testical. The testical doesn's seem to feel right when i am walked along. Its not really a pain it more like a feeling of tighness or of tenderness. The testical does not feel any different than the other one and it is the same size. With this testical weirdness i have found that i sometime get little pains just above that testical in my lower ab. i went back to the doctor he had another quick check and said it could be the start of a hernia or something like that, but he could not see any real problems. i said i would like to go to the hospital and have to really checked out because i am really worried.

i still have not been to the hospital yet as my appointment has not come through yet. Today while i was in the bath i notice that my left testical seems to have a mass of something above it. it doesnt seem to be dropping down like a hernia, i dont know what it could be. This mass is only really seens or felt when my groin in warm and relaxed.

So i am a little bit worried as i am getting strange feeling from what i think is the left hand side of my groin, but now i have found this mass.
please could you tell me what could be wrong

what does the mass feel like? there is supposed to be some things in there that you can feel, if its hard its more to worrie about thne if its soft, if its righton the testicle then again more to worrie about thne if its seemingly connected to the top back or bottom. please update once youve been to the doc again im interested to hear what is found out i have similar problems.
