HELP!!! PENIS DETACHMENT?

Hello, I am a 24y/o gay male. I am monogamously sexually active.  I have been with my partner for 10 months and upon trying to have anal sex, it seems my penis is not able to penetrate him.  What worries me is that when I try to acheive anal penetration my penis does not stay hard.  It softens and bends.  Aside from that, I also feel a strange sensation at the base of my penis as if it were detached from something inside of me.  I think my penis has been like this for a long time.  Please, there is nothing on the web that tells me what this could be...
