Headaches and anti-hypertensive medications

I have been taking Lotrel 5/20 for quite a few years. About a year ago I started taking Catapress 0.1mg in addition to the Lottrel 5/20. For the last 6 months I have been experiencing headaches almost daily. Could these headaches be due to the Catapress?
My second question is if I wish to discontinue taking the Catapress what is the best way to stop taking this medication? I understand I would need to taper off this medication and should not stop it abroubtly. I have taken 0.1mg Catapress daily for more than a year. Never discontinue blood pressure meds without the ok and advice of your doctor. Since you are experiencing headaches, now would be a good time to go in to discuss all your concerns.
