High Testosterone and Mood Swings?

by KDLMaj, Oct 20, 2009 06:29AM
Hey folks-

I'm 28 and have low-ish testosterone (less than 400 total test).  A month ago I went on a few natural testosterone boosters, and when my doctor checked my blood work I was up to over 770.  (Not bad for natural boosters!)

One thing I've noticed, however, is eggagerated moods- including several abrupt mood swings.  Now, I've been going through an emotional experience this month (long story), so that's part of it I'm sure.  But my responses to things have been very extreme.  Is this likely an effect of almost doubling my testosterone?  I've found lots of information on low testosterone causing moodiness, but it's very difficult to find anything on excess testosterone.

Thanks!
