Hpv 16 and 18

Do high risk hpvs such as 16 and 18 go away in time if the body fights the virus? Or are you stuck with it forever?

I believe that all strains of HPV may go away with time, as the body's immune system fights off the virus, eventually ridding the body of it completely.  Reference the STD forum on this site for more detailed information on this.

Your body will eventually shed the virus in it's own time.
