I'm 25 with Porn induced impotence

Wassup everyone I'm a 25 year old male who has been watching different forms of porn for 14 years. When I was in my teens I didnt have much of a life so porn was an outlet for me. Instead of me always haing fun as a teenager I took care of my fam. Didnt have a HS sweetheart or G/F until I turned 22. So anyway I didnt think porn was a problem for me until I had a sexual encounter with this lady I really had grown to like. Time and time again we tried to have sex only really doing something for a few mins one time. So I knew it wasnt her because It kept happening to me. So I did some research and found out that porn is probably the problem Even using pills wasnt working for me and sometimes I would take 2 at a time before sex. First I wanna know if anyone is having or had the same problem as me and if so how did you stop or surpress not watching porn? Secondly how long did it take for you to build your sex drive for long enough where you could keep an erection for a long period of time. For goodness sake I'm 25 and dont want this to be a problem for me anymore.

I can understand your situation. Using porn to become sexually aroused for 14 years may require you to readjust the process normally used to excite you to have sex. You may need to speak with a professional who can advise you how to remove the porn- issue as a way to have sex. It also appears that if you cannot maintain an erection longer enough to have sex, you may be classified as having erectile dysfunction. Many men who have ED have used medication like Viagra to return them having sex. Again, you may need to consult a doctor in Urology to determine whether your sexual problem is physical or emotional. If you choose to consult a urologist, inquire on the phone whether there is a charge upfront to speak with a specialist. Many specialists in many fields of medical service may provide a free consultation to determine if you need their services in the future.

The following comment is a somewhat similar condition as yours: The movie actor who played Agent Mulder in TV's, "The X-Files" became so addicted to porn in videos, magazines, online, that he admitted himself to a medical clinic to help remove the addiction of porn. "Mulder" is also the main character in a TV show named, "Californication." Weightlifters who use muscle- enhanchment steroids, like synthetic Testosterone, start to lose their normal levels of Testosterone and replace it with the synthetic one. What happens is their testicles began to shrink because the synthetic Testosterone replaces their normal level of true Testosterone. Scientists for years have declared that prison convicts become more aggressive because  their Testosterone levels increase while in jail.

I wish you good luck, and I hope you find the way to correct your situation.

Do Kegels , these are the exercises for the pc muscles. You can find more information regarding these exercises on google. Do them for two months and the results will be obvious. Don't masturbate. Its ok to if you watch porno as long as you don't end up masturbating. Broaden your view on sex: Ejaculation or orgasm are not sex but sex is a feeling that leads to orgasm and ejaculation. Try to enjoy that feeling. Do let me know if I could be of any fruther help.

Well i am not a doctor, but i will give you some advice. If you own any porn(mags, dvds, etc.) get rid of them. Porn is okay, but in your case you need to stop. This will then help you not masturbate. Thus, keeping your erection to last longer. Now if you want to keep yourself to last longer, there are some methods to practice. If you allow yourself to have control over your erection it will be better. If you are getting ready to climax let your partner know, and then stop for a second, maybe do something to stimulate her and let your self settle down. You will gradually build up tolerance.

I do suggest that since you are engaging in sexual activity, you should both get a std test in order that everything is safe. Not saying anything bad, just as a precaution.

But as for the porn, do what I said. If you use the internet set a firewall for all sites involving porn. Have one of your friends make the password so you don't know how to override it.

Hope this helps.
