Impotence

by holsy, Aug 19, 2006 12:00AM
When I was 19 I became completely impotent - almost over night, as a result of a chronic hookworm infection.

I have spent the last 3 and a half years consulting doctors with no luck. My testosterone level is OK.

I have been doing my own research and discovered that a zinc deficiency can cause impotence. I started taking zinc supplements about a week ago and have noticed some improvement.

I also read that a deficiency in molybdenum can cause impotence but haven't been able to get a hold of any.

What do you know about zinc and molybdenum deficiencies as causes for impotence and why don't doctors considder mineral dificiencies as possibles causes for symptoms.
