I recently started painting and i dont know why but i just felt like seeing how the paint thinner smelled so i whiffed it and then i read and saw that it was dangerous to even be around it for too long! Does anyone know if what i have done is too serious? If so, what are the problems that may happen and what should i do? I am an athleteAthlete's foot Athlete's foot cream Athlete's foot, tinea pedis so this really isn't good.
Just step outside for a while, make sure the place you use a chemical like this is well ventalated and try to keep your noseNose fracture off the top of the can LOL ;)
Well i did whif it from the top of the can, but yeah afterwords i felt a little bit dizzy but i dont know if that was just in my head. My last questions are did this one whif affect my brain or my lungs at all? If so, by how much?? What should I do?
Brain damage apparently only occurs if you turn into a paint thinner junkie and inhale that stuff on a daily basis. Also, if you are a painter by profession - not the artistic kind - you will be surrounded by those fumes much more. I`m talking about working in spray booths and the like. That seems to have some numbing effect on the brain after a few decades but your one-time sniff will leave you just fine...
