Is my penis unusual?

I'm uncircumcised and think I may have an unusual penis. Having never seen another man's penis before, these assumptions are largely based on images found on the internet, and a quick Google Image Search shows uncircumcised penises unlike mine. I'm 21 years of age and my penis has never retracted to the degree that is typical. The head of the penis does not escape the foreskin during an erection. I don't know why this is and would not dare even try to forcefully retract it in fear of great pain.

My question is, should my foreskin retract or should I just leave it the way it is? It has never provided any problems in terms of intercourse and honestly I don't want it to retract because the resulting change is not exactly appealing to the opposite sex visually. I also think its current shape improves my sexual durability in terms of delaying orgasm. I would rather be fully circumcised than half exposed even. But I want to know if this is uncommon, out of interest and perhaps slight apprehension.

PS: I'm Irish so circumcision isn't the norm over here in case you're wondering.

im 16 and this happens to me, i was worried that it might cause problems during sex...does it?
you can forcefully retract it, as i recently discovered, its actually the first time i have fully seen the head of my penis before.
it dosent hurt if you take it slowly, once u cant pull it down anymore you can pull the bottom side of it and it usually just slips straight down :S if thats any help at all.

if you cannot pull your foreskin back when erect you have phimosis but it is easily fixed.here are some links to show you how using stretching and topical steroids will help.
