Mens Lump On Chest HELP!

Ok so heres the rundown. Since the age of 17 I have had a golf ball sized lump on the middle of my chest 2 inches above my nipple line and more to the left centre. it would stick out only when i raise my arms up in the air but can rarely see it when my arms are to my side. Im not sure if i got it from working out, mostly doing push ups but i stopped working out for years and it went down a lot. I am 24 now and started working out again and can notice it again. not as big as before but I can't really tell as my chest is bigger now. I am going to take a pic of it and post it. Hope someone else has had something similar and can pass along some info.

Most likely possibility is a lipoma.  This is a benign tumor made of fat.  It can be removed surgically, but will leave a scar from the suture line.  Lipomas are very common and not related to cancer.  Another common problem is a sebaceous cyst.  Also harmless and can be removed surgically.
