My Free Testosterone Levels Are Low Why????

by earthquake2007, Jun 07, 2007 12:00AM
hello everyone im a 20 year old male and iv had my testosterone levels checked a few times and my total testosterone level is 625ng and my free level is 7.0pg/ml my total is mid range which is ok i guess its my free level that im worried about its offly low for my age. why do i have low free testosterone. iv had alot of other bloodwork done to find out and all my bloodwork is normal. my thyroid is fine. complete blood count is fine. mri that was normal. prolactin levels were normal. no signs of excess estrogen. im normal weight 150 pounds 5'8'' iv been to the doctors alot and it seems like they really dont give a f..ck about me. they figure since my total testosterone is normal and my free testosterone is borderline they wont treat me. but i definetly need treatment. something atleast. they wont treat me so iv been doing research for about a year now on the internet and im gonna treat myself. im just trying to decide what i wanna take. iv seen alot of testosterone boosters on the internet im considering taking one. im even considering taking some real testosterone injections,or hcg, or clomid to get my levels normal.

Yea, free testosterone matters, but doctors don't seem to think so. If you aren't waking up with erections, and have a low libido, than you do have a testosterone problem.

Sorry to say but doctors are not very much concerned about this problem at least not when you are a young man.But lack of free testosterone is not comun. Its very often related to other organs as for instanse your hypophyse.
I dont know were you live, but as this is a US site I presume you are living in the US.
"Bayer" Germany is producing Testosterone under the name NEBIDO.1000 mg/4 ml.
An injection will normally last for 12 weeks.BUT its expensive.Price in Europe is aproxm.130 US $.
