Odd lump just beside sphinctor...

I am a 21 year old male, and within the past 2 months or so I have noticed a friendly little lump just beside my sphinctor. I haven't a clue what it may be, but it seems to have grown in size since the first time I met it. It hurts to wipe, and I am now noticing that I can feel it whenever I clench my cheeks, like when I stand up or stretch. It is roughly the size of my middle fingernail, and it is bulbous, almost felt as though it was full of fluid at first but now almost seems to be solidifying. I don't know if it is prostate related or anything of the sort. Anyone have any ideas? I do plan on seeing a doctor soon, but god knows this is not the kind of thing I want to go see the neighborhood walk-in pillpusher about. I know there is a place in Calgary that deals specifically with prostate related dealies, and I plan to call there as soon as I submit this post. This sucks.
