Pain 7 months after a vasectomy

by tl1977, Jun 17, 2007 12:00AM
My husband had a vasectomy 7 months ago.  Since then he has had an extreme amount of pain when he first gets an erection which eases off somewhat once his erection is complete.  But!  Once he starts to ejaculate he is an EXTREME amount of pain.  The pain causes him to stop everything immediately, he can barely take a breath, can't stand & does not finnish ejaculating.

Getting him to make an appointment to have this looked at is harder than pulling teeth.  As soon as he recovers from the pain and can speak he's completely willing to make an appointment with his Dr. but it doesn't take him long to forget about it or brush it off.  It's FRUSTRATING!

I was hoping if I had some information for him I could get him to commit to an appointment and have this dealt with.  It's hard to see him in pain & quite frankly I would like my sex life back.

Any information you could provide is very much appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I would like to first point of out that I am not a doctor or a medical professional.  Unfortunately, he is in a great deal of pain.  The pain should not go untreated.  It may be something minor, but he will never know if he does not get it checked out.  Also, the could get worst and lead to other things if untreated.  If he does not wish to go to the physician who performed the vasectomy, he should find another physician.  This is not about being a man and enduring the pain.  It is about perserving life.  Wish you well and hope he gets some medical help.
