Painful limp in scrotum

Hi Folks,

Yesterday (xmas day) I had a weird feeling in my scrotum.
I checked and found a lump in the left testicle which was also swollen.
I noticed that it was also painful, particularly when i walked.

I went to the hospital where they took a blood test and i was examined by 3 doctors.

The doctor said that it is an infection that starts in the bowels and moves either to the kidneys or the testicles.

Naturally, when i found the lump i thought 'cancer' so i was very relieved when i was told this.

I am being sent for an ultrasound in a few weeks though.

The thing is - i had unprotected sex 2 months ago.

Swelling in the scrotum is one of the symptoms of chlamydia.

Could this be the case even after a period of 2 months?

Would it include a painful lump in the scrotum also?

The doctor asked if i was sexually active, i told him its been 2 months and he didn't take it further.

I'm worried, so any advice would be great!

I suggest getting another opinion from a Urologist! Just to ease your concern!
