Painful red lump on lower end of penis shaft

I am 15, have never had sexual intercourse and have masturbated a few times.
About 10 minutes before posting this, I noticed a lump, about 8mm in diamter and a few milimeters tall on my penis. It is about 1 inch from my pelvis. The lump is obvious and hurts when any pressure is applied to it. I am worried that it is some form of disease, like cancer. I dont know if genetailia cancer exists but I would rather not find out first hand. I can feel slight pain in the area just through lying down, with nothing coming into contact with it. I have recently had the common cold so my immune system may not be working to its full potential. Any diagnosis or remedies would be greatly appriciated.
