Past Burning Sensation

Around March 2008 of last year, I had sex with a girl that I've have know for a while. I never had any symptoms of anything until about 3 weeks later. But, ironically I started waiting tables at an outside bar/resturaunt on the beach. After working for about 2 weeks, The tip of my penis starting becoming really sensative and when I urinated it only would hurt at the time of the penis where it was sensative. Even when I took a shower it would sometimes hurt my penis as well when the water would touch it. So I just thought that it was some type of friction burn from walking around so much in the heat. This only went on for about 3 weeks then all the symptoms went away. And my current girlfriend I have now was tested and had a pap smear done in September and the results came back in fine. So, the two stds that come to mind are cylamidia and gonerehea. Do you think I should be good and it was just a friction burn. I did have like a clear discharge at the time where it was being rubbed against constantly but that would only happen like once or twice. But since March, I havent had any symptoms from this. And like i said, it only lasted for about 3 weeks then disapeared and its now Jan 2009
