Penis too sensitive after vasectomy

After using a condom for 20 years, I just had a vasectomy.

Now it seems that NOT using a condom makes my penis feel ultra sensitive during sex and not allowing me to
have the same enjoyment out of sex due to the quick and heightened sensitivity that makes me want to ejaculate too soon.

It's not the same NOT using a condom, and after 5 months, not getting better.

After using a condom again, sex is better, longer, and more satisfying.

Can one overcome the sensitivity over time by not using  a condom and lessen the sensitivity of the penis?
