Pimple like lump 1 inch from penis

For the past 3-4 days, I've had a large, skittle sized, hard "pimple" about 1 inch away from the base of my penis. I've had little pimples pop up before, but they usually go away within a day or two, or at least give a white head showing they can be popped.

I don't think it's an ingrown hair, because: a) i don't shave, and b) all the hairs look normal, and healthy. It's just very big, and painful at times. I'm just wondering if this is just a rare pimple, or something more serious.

Next time it happens, have a dermatologist look at it just in case it is something serious.
