Pimples on pubic area

Hi....i needed help on finding wats going on ..about 5 months ago i noticed little white dots appering in my pubic area i didnt bother to keep checking so i let time go i recently checked and to my fear more have come and gotten bigger too ...i poped one and little white stuff comes out..and when i did poped it a lot of blood came out but  i put alchol in to just to make sure..after a while like a week or so it starts to fade away like a normal pimple would i went to the doctor and she told me sumting but i 4 got she said it was going away by itself and it might take time i dont knw if she was right but they dont seem to leave and instead i poped most of them was that wrong of me to do or should? i see less of them but then a big one comes out ...i also been having sex is that wrong or not i need help? Thank you..
