Problems after circumcision

by tt-man, Jun 23, 2007 12:00AM
Hi, i was circumcised in March 2006. Everything healed up fine and i was ok for about 6 months but then i noticed that i would get bruised after sex underneath the penis glands where the frenulum use to be almost to the point where you could see the blood. This would take 8 or more weeks to heal at a time. It was not very painful but seems to happen everytime after sex now. The other day i decided to go slowly and see what happens but again the bruising was present the following day. Also i have notice that the underneath of my glands have changed to a bluey/greyish colour on each side. I was wondering why all of a sudden i would get bruised during sex and is this discolouring due to the bruising. Have you heard of discolouring of the glands after circumcision before and is this normal?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help would be greatly appreciated

i answered your question in urology but i will add more here.you have had an overly aggressive circumcision.too much was removed and your frenulum should not have been removed.you should sue the doctor that did this and get yourself fixed either surgically or manually as i recommended in the urology posting.the bruising and blood spots are due too your skin being too tight you need a little more skin.

Nothing more to add other than  agreee :(  I'm so sorry this happened to you.  I hope you sue and have the problem fixed as quickly as this process allows.

You have a long road ahead of you.

Thank you for your advice. I find it strange as to why it was fine for a few months and then the problem started? I will speak to my doctor as it was done under the NHS in the UK as i had phimosis

did your doctor inform you of the other treatments for phimosis?such as  stretching with topical steroids or a z-plasty or dorsal slit?here are links for more information.
