Propecia versus Rogaine

Is there any danger associated with using both propecia and rogaine?

Propecia or finasteride, an oral drug,  is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss  while Rogaine or Minoxidil , a topical drug, is used to treat male pattern baldness in patients who are experiencing gradually thinning hair on the top of the head. These medications are both safe to use but there has not been a lot of research done on the use of both medications together- their long term side effects, interactions with other medicine, etc, .
