Prostate infection?

Hi, I'm a 47 year old male (type 2 diabetic). I have had prostate infections before so I am no stranger to the symptoms but lately I have trouble starting a stream of urine and unable to tell when it stops, when I urinate I have pain in my bladder/abdominal area, pain in the area of the prostate continously (generally aches) , aching in my lower back and a mild burning sensation (as hemorrhoids) in my rectum. (especially after a BM) I have no fever. I also had a right and left inguinial hernia repairs last year which came undone about 60 days after they were repaired. My question is:
Can you please tell me if this sounds like a protate infection and if so, I can't get a doctors appointment until the 17th of this month so do I need to plan a trip to the ER or can it wait until the appoinment? Or, would there be a possibility of the mesh and titanium screws are causing problems?
