Puffy dome nipples + Lump

Firstly I'm a 16 y/o Male
Well, since I started puberty I noticed my nipples got bigger, and I mean large and dome like. Not like a normal nipple. I used to get embarrased in the changing rooms because my nipples were so big! They only looked normal when it was cold, cos they shrivled up.. Will they ever be normal?

So ontop of that, I have this weird lump ontop of my left nipple. About the half the size of a grain of rice. It is acutaly ontop of the nipple, not inside like I have read about. I have been really tempted to yank it off, but fear that would not help things.

Please Please Please help, I always fear the worst and need some guidance.

What you could have is gynecomastia. You need to see your doctor to find out for sure.

Do you do drugs?
Are you overweight?
Any medication?

Do you feel any hard disk like object under the nipple? This condition is usually caused by a temporary or permanent imbalance in hormones, but drugs and excess fat can cause it too.

It usually goes away after a year or two, but on rare occassions, it stays around and surgery is needed to remove the glandular tissue, fatty deposits, breast tissue or a combination of a couple or all of those. I know it may not seem like it, but this condition is much more common than you may think. 40-60% of young men get it at one point or another. I was one of them.

I do not do drugs, nor am i overweight, the only meds i take are pills for acne; but it all started before i was using them.

I heard about the hard disk thing, but there is definately not anything hard under either of my nipples.

Does this mean it is not gynecomastia, and that i just have big nips?
