Do you have any lumps in the sides of your neck?  I have carotid body tumors...tumors in the "y" of the carotid arteries, I can hear my pulse  loudly in my ear.........stiff neck, turning my head is like move it over an object.  I had the largest one removed. Its heredity  anyone else in your family have similar trouble?
See your doctor............get a CT scan of your neck
