Questions about Azoospermia

My husband was diagnosed with Azoospermia after 2 seman analysis we recently saw a fertility specialits that want to do a testicular biopsy and skip seeing if it can be repaired.  My husband is really wanted to see if anything can be done for his situation before they do a biopsy. We go to the Urologist this week to get more answers.

My question is if there is a fix for the Azoospermia if it is obstructed is there any guantee that he will regenerate sperm and it will be released in ejactuation?

What is the waiting time after repair that they will know if it worked and to start trying to concieve (conceive)?

Does anyone have any questions that they feel my husband or I should ask the Urologist?

Any suggestions or thoughts are welcome!

My husband hasn't yet started any medication.
You were also diagnosed with SCO syndrome?
We haven't yet decided what to do.
It is really difficult

Have you had testicular biopsy or just a sperm analysis?

Update:

I really want to thank you all for posting comments thoughts and ideas, I felt like I was alone for so long.  What is SCO syndrome? My husband has not been diagnosed with anything. We have done almost every test possible so far except the biopsy because we are waiting to do the biopsy at the same time we do IVF to hopefully have the best chance possible if he has any sperm.  We have been doing genetic tests because there is a defect call klinefelters syndrome that affects 1 out of 1000 men and he does not have it.  There is on last test we are doing that is a line marker missing out of the Y chromosome which affect 1 out of 2-300,000 men and that will determine if there could be any sperm in his testicals.  We have seen 3 urologists 1 hormone specialist, a genealogist and an IVF specialist and still no one knows why all of the tests are coming back normal but there is no sperm in any of his seaman analysis. The only way we will know more is with the biopsy but we are waiting a little longer.

What hormones do they want you your husband to take?
Were all of his blood tests normal?
Was there any sperm in his testicals during the biopsy?

Anything else you can tell me about your process will help and if there is anything I can help you with please let me know.

Thanks

My husband has not taken any medications. After all of his tests are completed the first and most important step all the doctors say is the biopsy it will determine a lot.

What have the doctors told you?
