Radiating Pain from right side lower pain to right testicle

I work out daily and about 3 days ago after coming home from the gym I felt pain that radiates from my lower back (right side) down through my pelvis to my right testicle. I am not incapacitated, but the pain is uncomfortable. Putting pressure on that area (by sitting or standing in a certain position) makes it more uncomfortable. I thought it was a hernia at first, but I seriously doubt that- I feel completely normal otherwise.  I'm not sure what could be causing this. I've had back pain before but nothing like this.  It is ONLY the right side.

Hi Wal, First, so what were you doing at the gym, was it weights you were working on, as this sounds like a strain, which hopfuly may just clear up on its own if you take it easy and just keep away from the gym for a couple of weeks.
Good Luck
