This is a rare problem but the more research I do on the internet the more forums and support groups I see with men experiencing this issue with NO answers, regardless of how many urologists and dermatologists they've seen.
About 3 months ago I had unprotected anal, vaginal, and oral sex with a female. She is clean. A week later some sort of infection occurred in my urethra. Burned terribly when I urinated and head of my penis got extremely red and inflamed. However, even after being tested and treated for EVERYTHING, all of my results were negative and antibiotics and anti-fungal (oral and topical) did nothing. The infection only went away after 3 weeks on it's own after the doctor's tried everything.
Since then I've been left with swelling/inflammation on the tip of my penis and redness around the area. This gets worse after sexual activity or masturbation. Luckily, no pain, itching or irritation. It just looks infected. This has not improved at all. The head of my penis does not look the same. I've been told everything from I have psoriasis, trauma to the skin, nothing at all, and lots of "I'm not sure". I've seen 3 dermatologists and 3 urologists.
