Sex drive killed after taking tamoxifen....why? Please help!

I was taking testosterone compound cream (10mg) a day and my pharmacist told me to make sure I get my estrogen levels checked because too much testosterone can turn into estrogen.  He also recommended an anti-estrogen like Chrysin.  It was working great but it still took a few days to "build back up" and so my roommate gave me something called Tamoxifen (also called nolvadex).  I took it for about a week and it literally annihilated my sex drive.  I realized very quickly it was because of the tamoxifen and stopped taking it immediately.  However, my sex drive still has not come back.  It's been about 2 months and still nothing and now I'm starting to get a little scared.  I stopped taking the testosterone all together for about 2 weeks and it got a little better but then I started taking it again and then it went right back to being rock bottom again.  WTF did tamoxifen do to me???  Why is my libido completely dead?  Did I just totally overload my body with testosterone?  I thought tamoxifen was an anti-estrogen blocker but apparently it actually boosts your testosterone as well.  I might have really screwed myself here but I'm looking for any help from anyone.  Thank you so much....

Well I only took it for about 5 days, surely that isn't enough to completely kill my libidi permantely, I refuse to believe that.  What do you recommend I do though?  I told my doctor but he's a little bit of a moron and I don't think he knew what to do.  What do yout think I should do???

Can you please resond back and tell me what you know about this drug?  I took it because it was an anti-estrogen, I know it's a strong drug but I doubt that 5 pills can completely kill my libido for life.  I should also tell you I'm also on suboxone (6mg a day) so not sure if that has something to do with it or not.  I just want a doctor to please tell me what I have to do to get back to normal!!!  Where the hell did my sex drive go!??!?!?!!

suboxone......
Yea I know why ya take it.... but opiod(s) and synthetic opiod(s) / opiod receptive blockers such as suboxone can really screw with your sexual desire.. In many ways, opiods release seritonin.. So does the opiod receptive blockers i believe.. Alllll these litte connections effect your mental mood.. Your sex Drive is ALOT MORE Mental than physical.. Its in ones MIND... the opiod(s) and the Opiod blockers can truly screw with your mental mood and chemical releasing.. Which in result could effect your sex drive... Im no doctor, but Ive been up and down the road of depression/opiods/opiod blockers and the mental effects they have that gave different result in my own sex drive.. Just a thought.. best of luck..
Oh if yer doc *****, find another! there a dime a dozen...(yes the suboxone) isnt a walk into a doctor and walk out easy type of thing)....but still...

Thanks for your reply, I laid off the testoterone for a month now and I noticed it's getting better, but the time it takes to "build back up" is taking longer, about  week or so.  I hear ya on the opiods but I've been on suboxone for over a year now and I was fine as long as I had the testosterone, without it yes you are right it was very difficult to have a sexual life.  But the testosterone made it possible.   I'm going to try using the testosterone again here in a week or two and see if that make a difference.
