Stabbing prostate pain, constant itch

I have had sharp pains in my prostate since I was a little kid. I used to have UTI like symptoms frequently when I was younger and had to urinate about every 2 minutes. They come and go sometimes one or twice a year but now much more frequently at 26. I stopped having the UTI like symptoms unless I try to urinate soon after ejaculating.  I have gotten to the point were it is maybe once a week or more. It hurts so bad that I can't move or breath. Then goes away as quickly as it started. I have had a desk job for the last two years and have started to become bloated. I can still pinch my belly fat and it isn't much. I know it is from an inactive lifestyle but it makes me wonder if I have some gigantic tumor or something. I started having an itch in my rectal area and at first I thought maybe I picked up jock itch somewhere. I used over the counter treatment until I realized that wasn't it at all. Then I thought maybe it was psoriasis because I had a patches of itchy dry skin on my hands around the same time. The itch on my hands went away but not downstairs. Then I started thinking maybe I just have terrible internal hemorrhoids. Because my wife always said I take way to long to poop. I do, I'm a camper. But I really strain to get anything out. Could it be I have a prostate so swollen it is blocking flow? Because when I have to use the bathroom now I really have to go. I get the sharp pain and pressure so bad that I'll kick the bathroom door down to go. I try and eat healthy and have no other health conditions besides having an irregular heart beat. My family has a history of cancer. My mother had breast cancer and my grandfather had esophageal cancer. I'm going to get this all checked out once my health insurance kicks in but I wouldn't mind having a heads up.

Yes, you could have hemorrhoids. You can get them from straining to use the bathroom. They can itch, burn and cause pain.
And yes, you could have a prostate problem. It usually happens in older men but it can some times happen in younger men too.
I'm glad you will be getting checked out soon. In the mean time, get an ointment for the possible hemorrhoids. It should not hurt you to use it even if hemorrhoids are not the problem. If they are thought the ointment should give you some relief.
Buy a natural stool softener so you'll be able to use the bath room easier.
I wish I could tell you what the pain is about but I'm just not sure.
