Std or not

HI I have a red v shaped streak on the underside of my penis starting at my scrotum and ending at the head of my penis where there are two bumps my whole genital area itches at times including my pubic are but i haven't really noticed any type of lesions. Applying gold bond seems to relieve the itching this has been going on since the beginning of the summer. I have also been experiencing some penile pain like i need to push something out but no discharge. Are these two things linked? Could this be an STD or just some form of a fungal infection? I know i need to see a DOC but i am just really embrassed and would like to know what expect thank you
