Steroids for bone growth

Steroids for bone growth

Hi, I've heard that steroids can be prescribed by a doctor to stimulate or aid bone growth is that true?
and if it is would I be a good candidate? Even though I'm quite tall 5'11.5 I think I have problems with my facial bone structure in particular the lower jaw which should be wide and it's is not, it looks simply weak and gives me a narrow look which is not too common among men and I really dislike it.
Would steroids in therapeutical doses prescribed by a doctor do anything at all for my face?
I'm 21 almost 22 and although I know I'm probably done growing I know that peak bone mass is achieved at 25 so perhaps there's still a chance to change my jaw a little bit..

it might work but finding a doctor to prescribe the steroids will be difficult.you could also consider a cosmetic chin implant.

Well the problem isn't really the chin is jaw width.. I know a doctor who could possibly prescribe it to me but I'm looking for more details here first before I ask him. Thanks.

Can anyone else give me more insight about this? Like steroid names used for this purpose and such?
