Strange bumps in genital area?? STD?///

by hawksfan, Jun 05, 2007 12:00AM
Hey Doc,

I have some small blister like bumps that appeared about a month or so ago. They almost look like pimples but they dont pop. I have been with the same partner for well over a year now and she was tested for STD about 2 months ago and everything was negative. The last time that I was tested was right when we met and I was also negative. My concern is these"bumps or blisters" wont go away. They dont ever seep fluid or crust up or anything like that they just stay there almlost the same every day. I have recently been putting A+D ointment on it and it seems to help a little but not completly get rid of it. They dont hurt but do itch on occasion. Any ideas on whats goin on? I dont have insurance and CANT affored to go to the docter at this particular moment. Any suggestions on what this could be? Could it be herpes or some other STD? Thank you for all of your input.

check out this website. WWW.molluscum.com Take a look at the pics and see if it looks like what you have. My 7 year old daughter had a bout with this. It is really an unheard of virus that usually spreads between sex partners, however children can get it from sharing swim suits, wet towels, daycare sleeping mats etc... They say there is no treatment for it and it will go away on it's own. But I used this silvercure stuff from this website and it worked in about 3 weeks. It is extremely contagious so you should take a look at it and see.. Hope this helps.

sounds like genital warts or syphilis, (herpes is painful). The most likely is genital warts, and It will go away on its own after a year or so if not treated. Something like 70% or sexually active people have or have had warts (very common). If it is syphilis, you need to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. In some people, syphilis can progress into very serious systemic (whole body) disease.

I thought I had something and it was a yeast infection that I caught from my girlfriend. I applied Lamisil and monistat to it and it worked.
