I had/have reasonably subtle inflammation on the head of my penis I was/am conscious about. I've had the issue for about 3 years now. I reckon it could be some kind of eczema or dermatitis since all the anti-fungal creams and tablets didn't help the affected tissue. It probably takes up about a third of my glands.
I recently saw a urologist who recommended a biopsy, which I've had and the satures have seemed to have not held the wound together and left a gaping hole in my penis which has defeated the object of me seeing someone and is so much worse than the original problem which won't help with the whole confidence thing one bit.
It's been two weeks since the op and I don't know wether it could still be rectified. I've been back to the hospital twice to see the RMO and he says just make sure there's no puss, blood etc and let it heal. But all I'm concerned about is the aesthetic side of it. I feel like it's a joke, I wish I'd never had the biopsy. I'm supposed to be having the follow up appointment with the sergeon in 5 days and that's a day before I go away for 10 days. Is there any hope of making the wound better as I don't want a gaping hole in my penis for the rest of my life. I don't really know what I'm asking for here. Can they restitch the wound after more than two weeks after the operation?
