Swelling above left testical

I have have miner lower back aches for the last 6 months and seen my Dr. for this. After an ultra sound and  a M.R.I. she has found nothing. Last week I noticed some discomfort around my left testical. I found no lumps on the testical but I found above it is some swelling, I think. I don't examan often at all to notice a change. It is about halve the size of the testical. Above the right testical feels much smaller. I have noticed that my sack has "tightened" a bit. Is this what might be the cause of my back pain. Is this a sympthom of cancer or of some other problem?

a mri should have picked up on cancer so i dont think thats a problem .look into hydrocele  and maybe hernia  is possible too as this would account for the back pain . x x

I agree with Marra315, it sounds like hernia or hydrocele, or varicocele.  Is the lump a homogenous mass (i.e., feels like it's one piece) or does it feel like it's a bag of worms, for instance?

i m having pain in my testicals there is a slight swelling on one part and one testical has reduced its size , i m feeling shy to tell it to my parents, will it recover by itself or do i need to show it to a doctor , where should i visit , is there a specific doctor for such injuries , plz help me out , what should i do ?
