Testicle abdomen question

by rydub8, Apr 24, 2007 12:00AM
Hello, much like the post right before mine, i am a 25 year old male, and the other day i was doing a regular exam of my teticles in the shower, just percausionary, and i thought i felt a little bump underneath and kinda around back of my testicle, however it kinda felt like the same thing was on the other side, so i think it may have been my epididymis, which i know sometimes gets confused with a lump. However because i felt it, i kinda became obsessed with it and for 2 or 3 days i felt the spot in the shower, it wasn't really that painful to touch, just a little sensative more so than anything. My testicles have always been sensative though. But the last few days ive noticed  a dull pressure with very mild soreness, it's not even really sore, it's more just an awkward feeling like i have to adjust my testicle, i feel this feeling in my right groin area between my thigh and testicle, and into my lower abdomen right up to the pubic hair line, and it seems to be just a little bit swollen on that side of my lower abdomen (very mildly swollen).
Any reason to worry, or could it be from just examining my testicles and maybe i irriated them a little, like i said it's not really painful, and urinating and ejaculating doesn't hurt at all. Should i maybe give it a little time and see if it relaxes, my right teste does hang a little lower, but my testes go back and forth as far as hanging lower or higher than the other one so i'm not too worried about that. I just wanted to see if this is fairly common and if i should just keep an eye on it, of course if it gets worse or starts to give any real pain i know not to wait but as of now should i give it a little time to relax.

you need to go to the doctor and be examined. Then, you will know what is normal and you can base your future self exams off of how they feel now. Dont make the mistake of waiting and regretting it later if you really do have a problem

I had similar symptoms years ago and it turned out I had a hernia.  Go see a doc.
